THE BOOK · BY T.E. CROWE
Nobody Warned Us
At 54 I was dreading 55. My dad died at 60, and the math got loud. I tried journaling. Lasted four days. So I started telling stories instead, read a few to my daughter, and she said, “Mom, you need to make this a book.”
This is that book. Burnout, the body, the marriage, the mirror. All the stuff I was sure only I was dealing with.
“I thought you were talking about me.”
